The difference is where the writing happens. Most voice-to-text tools ship your recording to a server, run it there, and bill you monthly for the minutes. VoxFlow runs the speech model locally with WhisperKit, on the Apple device in your hand. There is no backend to send audio to — which is why it keeps working at 11 000 metres with the Wi-Fi off, and why there is nothing to subscribe to.
