VoxFlow Privacy Policy

1. Overview

VoxFlow is a voice-to-text application developed by GoSpace Labs (BIT Technology s.r.o.), based in Bratislava, Slovakia. VoxFlow is designed with privacy as its core principle: all audio processing happens entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, transmit, or have access to any of your data.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

VoxFlow does not collect any of the following:

• Audio recordings — Your voice never leaves your device
• Transcriptions — All text is generated and stored locally
• Personal information — No name, email, phone number, or account required
• Usage analytics — No tracking, no telemetry, no analytics SDKs
• Location data — VoxFlow does not request or use location
• Device identifiers — No IDFA, no fingerprinting, no ad tracking
• Browsing history — VoxFlow does not access web content
• Contacts or calendar — No access to your contacts or calendar

VoxFlow has no servers, no backend, and no cloud infrastructure for processing your data. There is literally nowhere for your data to go.

3. On-Device Processing

VoxFlow uses WhisperKit, an on-device speech recognition engine based on OpenAI's Whisper model, optimized for Apple Silicon. Key facts:

• The speech recognition model runs entirely on your device's GPU and Neural Engine
• No internet connection is required for transcription
• Audio is processed in real-time and is not stored beyond your explicit recordings
• The model supports 99 languages without sending data to any server

We deliberately chose WhisperKit over cloud-based alternatives (including Apple's own Speech Recognition framework) to guarantee that your audio data never leaves your device under any circumstances.

4. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, VoxFlow uses Apple's CloudKit framework to synchronize your recordings across your Apple devices (iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch). Important details:

• Sync happens directly between your devices via your personal iCloud account
• GoSpace Labs has no access to your iCloud data
• iCloud sync is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy
• You can disable iCloud sync at any time in Settings
• Synced data includes transcription text, recording metadata, and audio files (if you choose to save them)

5. Device Permissions

VoxFlow requests only the permissions necessary for its core functionality:

• Microphone (required) — To record your voice for transcription. Audio is processed locally and never transmitted.
• Accessibility (macOS, optional) — For Push-to-Talk dictation (Globe key, Caps Lock, Right Shift). VoxFlow listens only for these specific keys — it does NOT log keystrokes or monitor your typing.

VoxFlow does not request access to: Camera, Location, Contacts, Calendar, Photos, Health, Bluetooth, or any other system permission beyond those listed above.

6. Third-Party Services

VoxFlow does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or tracking tools. Specifically:

• No Google Analytics, Firebase, or Amplitude
• No Facebook SDK or Meta Pixel
• No advertising SDKs (AdMob, AppLovin, etc.)
• No crash reporting services (Crashlytics, Sentry, etc.)
• No attribution or deep-linking SDKs

The only external dependency is WhisperKit (by Argmax, Inc.), which runs entirely on-device and does not transmit any data.

Optional AI Integration

VoxFlow offers the ability to send your transcriptions to third-party AI services (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) via Apple's Siri Shortcuts. When you use this feature:

• Text is sent through Apple's Shortcuts framework, not directly by VoxFlow
• This is always an explicit user action — never automatic
• The data handling is governed by the respective AI service's privacy policy
• VoxFlow itself does not communicate with any AI service directly

7. Children's Privacy

VoxFlow does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). Since VoxFlow does not collect data, it is inherently compliant with COPPA, GDPR Article 8, and similar regulations regarding children's privacy.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Since VoxFlow does not collect your email or any contact information, we cannot notify you directly — we recommend checking this page periodically.

Our commitment to zero data collection will not change. If we ever need to collect data in the future (which we currently have no plans to do), we will create a new version of the app that explicitly requests your consent.
